Location Arming

Reduce false alarms and save your organization time and money by virtually arming or disarming a location from wherever you are. The OWS alerting engine uses the armed stated of locations to filter alerts and ensure you only get notified when it matters most to your business.

NOTE: Location Arming is in final feature review for an upcoming release.

Navigate to Locations

The arm/disarm state of alarm panels can be set under Management > Locations > Locations > Location Arming.

Location Arming
  1. Choose the Location associated with the Integration from the Locations list.

  1. Click on the Location Arming tab. Locations Arming tab.png
  2. Choose the integration from the Arm State Owner dropdown. This option determines what sets the armed state for this location. If there are no 3rd party intrusion systems integrated, a virtual arming state can be enabled.

  1. Click Save. Save Button.png
  2. If the panel is currently in a Disarmed state, click on the arrow Arrow right icon.png and select Arm.
