How is My Apex Recorder's Network Set Up

To check how the network adapters on your Apex unit are set up, you can go to the Adapters tab of Network Configuration in the Settings Menu.

The Adapters page will list the active network interfaces of the recorder:

NOTE: The MD and the MV will not have a camera adapter listed.

Depending on network topology, the camera adapter might not be used. For further explanations of common network topologies, please reference the common network topologies FAQ.  

For Linux units, clicking on the adapter will open the information for the adapter:

This will list if the adapter is set to static or DHCP, as well as corresponding information for the network adapter. The network information for the recorder can also be changed here.

For Windows units, the information will also display, but any changes in network information will need to be changed within Windows.
