Adding HDD to Apex Linux / 3rd party HDDs
Adding Hard Drives to an OpenEye Recorder
OpenEye Linux systems do not have the ability to hot swap drives, be sure to power off and unplug the recorder before installing hard drives.
Ensure the hard drive is compatible with our system. Refer to our technical support team for further questions and information.
For 3rd party hard drives that have not been formatted by OpenEye, the recorder will need to be put through a full factory default once the hard drive is installed. This will format the drive and allow for footage to be written.
