Adding a New Policy for Automatic Software Updates
Creating and implementing new policies is essential for maintaining effective governance and compliance within your organization. This section provides step-by-step instructions for adding a new policy via the OpenEye User Interface (UI).
Please Note: Some functionalities related to creating policies for automated updates may be exclusive to certain OWS licensing tiers. For more details, please refer to the Management section in OWS Licensing.
Add New Policy
Please Note: The User Interface (UI) for adding and editing policies is currently available in beta only. To enable this feature, please contact your OpenEye Sales Representative for additional details.
- Go to Management > Software Updates.
- Click Add New Policy.
- Enter a Name and Description for the new policy, and click Create.
The created policy will show in the policy list.
