Microsoft Edge Browser Timout
Microsoft Edge may timeout or cause tabs to go to sleep, which may cause issues with camera functions such as PTZ. To turn this option off in your Microsoft Edge browser, follow the steps below:
Turn off Save resources with sleeping
- Open Microsoft Edge, then navigate to the Settings and More menu.
- You should have a menu list of options. Click on Settings:
- In the settings menu, click on System and Performance.
- Scroll down until you see Optimize Performance and turn off Save resources with sleeping tabs.
Note: You can turn off the entire Efficiency mode if you continue to have issues.
