CPU Support

Currently we build specifically for Intel i-Series CPUs and there is no plan to support AMD processors. The features Apex provides, such as Smart Motion and Server-side analytics are built around Intel processors, with server-side analytics requiring Intel 8th generation and newer.

Because of possible performance issues on 3rd party AMD systems, they are going to fall outside the scope of our abilities to effectively support them. AMD processors are not specifically incompatible, however they have not been tested and do not have the same feature set and for that reason, it's a use at your own risk situation.
