Layouts in OWS

Create, save, and share customized layouts within OpenEye Web Services, enhancing your efficiency and access to the video that matters the most.

NOTE: Layouts in OWS is only available with certain licensing tiers. See OWS Licensing for more information.

 

 

 
Layouts

After configuring a grid in the OpenEye Web Services Video Player, you can save the layout and display it again whenever you log in to OWS and use the Video Player.

NOTE: Layouts in OWS is not currently compatible with the Layouts feature in Command Station.

Saving a Layout
  1. After assigning the cameras to a grid in the Video Player, click Layouts above the Locations list.

NOTE: If no layouts have been saved, a message will display: No saved layouts message.png  

  1. Click Add Layouts.

  1. Name your layout.
  2. Choose a group. See Shared Layout Groups for managing Layout Groups.

NOTE: You can click the plus icon Add Icon.png to add new sub-groups.

  1. Click Save.

Once you have created and saved a layout, it will be viewable in the My Layouts list.

Drag and drop the layout name to display it in My Layouts or select Open from the Layout Options. The layout will also display when returning to the OWS Video Player from Layouts.

Click on the three dots Event Search Kebab Menu.png next to a layout group to view the options.

Open Open the saved layout.  
Update Update after changes have been made to the layout.  
Rename Rename the layout.  
Delete Delete the layout.
