Configuring the Event Receiver API (Access Control)

The Event Receiver API (Access Control) is an API that allows a third party to send access control events to OpenEye Web Services in order to leverage OpenEye alerting and video resources.

Enabling and Configuring the Event Receiver API (Access Control)

Follow the instructions in OWS Access Keys and select the Access API option.

Mapping Access Control Types to Cameras

After configuring your Access Control system to send events to OpenEye Web Services according to the OpenEye Web Services Event API document, your Access Control system will connect to OpenEye Web Service and add any attached readers, sensors, panels, keypads, or locations. If these are not automatically populated, contact your Access Control company.
