Windows 11 Update Process

Use the information below to determine the compatibility of your recording device before beginning the update process to Windows 11.
Update Compatibility

To determine if your recorder has a compatible motherboard for a Windows 11 update, use the OWS Inventory Report found under Reports > Inventory Report > Recording Devices > Motherboard column.

Motherboards

The following motherboards are compatible for update to Windows 11:

NOTE: If your recorder is not compatible for update to Windows 11, see additional information about Windows 10 End of Life.

Available Updates

If you have determined that your recorder is compatible, you will need to order the corresponding update:

Update SKU Update Description
OE-ZW11UPG-i7 Windows 10 to Windows 11 field update for Intel i7 CPU equipped recorder (license only).
OE-ZW11UPG Windows 10 to Windows 11 field update for Intel i5 CPU equipped recorder (license only).
OE-ZL2WUPG-MT2 Linux to Windows 11 update for MT Gen.2 recorders.
OE-ZL2WUPG-MM2 Linux to Windows 11 update for MM Gen.2 recorders.

NOTE: OpenEye Remote Workstations (OE-RWS4M-CS) that have a Compatible Motherboard and Windows 10 Pro license are eligible for update to Windows 11 Pro. For additional information, check Microsoft’s Ways to install Windows 11.

Submit purchase order with available update and associated device serial number​ to your account representative.
