Best Practices
- Begin with the default grid display of 9 thumbnail images within a 24 hour range and with the OSD enabled.
- Click on the image that displays an event. This will automatically narrow the time range displayed across the images and move the selected image to the center.
- Continue to click on images containing the event image you want to isolate.
Note: When you click on images to narrow the thumbnail search, clicking while on the shortest time range will automatically start video playback in the Video Player. Additionally, you can right-click an image to expand the time range across the images and move the selected image to the center.

Thumbnails | Choose a 9, 16, or 25 video grid display from the dropdown. The grid display will determine what Time Range options are available. |

Perform a Thumbnail Search
NOTE: Thumbnail searches allow for only one camera to be displayed at a time.
- Select a camera from the Camera List.
- Select the Number of Thumbnails, the Time Range, and turn the OSD On/Off as desired.
NOTE: The combination of thumbnail quantity and time range will determine the time interval between each snapshot displayed. For example, 25 thumbnails in a 24-hour time range will result in 1-hour time intervals between displayed pictures.
- Left-click on the desired thumbnail to narrow the time interval, opening new thumbnails.
NOTE: When the thumbnail is narrowed to the smallest time interval, left-clicking again will begin recorded video playback in the Video Player.
- Right-click the desired thumbnail to expand the time interval, opening new thumbnails.
