ProdataKey (PDK) Access Control Integration Instructions

This cloud-to-cloud integration links  OpenEye Web Services (OWS) with ProdataKey to enable users to leverage ProdataKey events through the OWS cloud portal.

NOTE: The ProdataKey (PDK) integration is available with select licensing tiers. For details on licensing options, please refer to the Access Control row under OWS Ecosystem Integrations in OWS Licensing.

Add Integration
  1. In OWS, click on Management > Integrations.

  1. Select Integrations.
  2. Click the Add New Integration button.

  1. Select ProdataKey (PDK) from the dropdown and click Next.

NOTE: Integration Management is not available for all End User account types.

Creating an API Key
  1. Select the Management > Integrations tab.
  2. Click Edit Edit button.png on the Triton Sensor integration.
  3. Select API Access Keys.

  1. Select Add Key.

  1. Click Add Key and you will be presented with the Secret Key. Enter a Key Name and click Add.

NOTE: This is the only time you will be able to view the Secret Key. Be sure to copy it somewhere. If the secret key is lost, a new API access token must be created.

Configuring ProdataKey (PDK) to connect to OpenEye Web Services
  1. Log in to your pdk.io account and select System Settings

  2. Select Integrations, click Settings under OpenEye, and select Enabled

  3. Click Configure under OpenEye and enter the Email and Password for your OpenEye Web Services account

  1. Configure the following settings:
    1. Select your OpenEye Account from the OpenEye Account drop down menu
    2. Enter the API Access Key that you saved from the previous section into the OpenEye Access Key ID field
    3. Enter the Secret Key that you saved from the previous section into the OpenEye Access Key Secret field
    4. Select your recorder from the OpenEye Location field

NOTE: This field will not populate until you enter a valid API Access Key and Secret Key

  1. Scroll down the page and the cameras on the selected recorder will populate.
  2. Beneath the camera that you would like to associate with your ProdataKey (PDK) Reader click the drop down menu under PDK Device and select your PDK Device

  3. Repeat step 6 for all ProdataKey (PDK) Readers 
  4. Return to the top of the page and click Return to pdk.io

The ProdataKey (PDK) integration is now configured. You may proceed to configure your Access Control Alert Rules
