RMA Security Deposits
Why is there a security deposit on my RMA?
The RMA security deposit is collected to ensure defective equipment is returned.
- An RMA security deposit is collected on all in-warranty and out-of-warranty RMAs.
- When an RMA security deposit is collected, a hold or authorization is placed against the provided payment method: Credit Card, Itemized PO, or Open PO.
- Once the defective equipment is received the hold or authorization will be lifted.
If you do not wish to provide an RMA security deposit, please inquire about a cross-ship RMA with the technical support representative assisting you.
Note: If you require more than 30 days to return the defective equipment, please communicate that with the technical support representative assisting you in setting up the RMA.
