Available Export Methods

Console
  • Video clip
    • 3600 seconds max
    • Only 1 camera at a time
    • To USB connected directly to NVR or web services (with proper permissions and logged in as OWS user)
  • Snapshot
    • Only to USB connected directly to NVR
  • Archive export
    • 24 hours max (all cameras)
    • Can only export to USB connected directly to NVR
Video Player (OWS Player)
  • Single camera
    • 4 hours max
    • Locally to computer (goes to browser’s default download location)
    • To web services
      • Additional option to share clip with specific users or groups
        • Options to set expiration date, allow user to download or add additional text with clip share email
  • Multi-Camera
    • 4 hours max
    • Locally to computer (goes to browser’s default download location)
    • To web services
      • Additional option to share clip with specific users or groups
        • NOTE: Options to set expiration date, allow user to download or add additional text with clip share email
      • Can export from cameras across multiple recorders
      • Multi camera clips are always split up into 1 clip per camera
  • Snapshot
    • Locally to computer only
  • Archive
    • 4 hours max
    • Locally to computer only
    • Link to download archive viewer on last screen

NOTE: Cloud Camera archive exports have a maximum duration of 24 hours. If an archive export includes a combination of video from cloud cameras and video from recorders, the export will be limited to 4 hours.

Thin Client (Browser / Web Connect)
  • Single Camera
    • 4 hours max
    • Locally to computer (goes to browser’s default download location)
    • To web services
  • Multi-Camera
    • 4 hours max
    • Locally to computer (goes to browser’s default download location)
    • To web services
  • Snap shot
    • Locally to computer only

      • Can export from cameras across multiple recorders
      • Multi camera clips are always split up into 1 clip per camera
  • Snapshot
    • Locally to computer (prompts for where to download)
  • Archive

    • Can export to the local workstation running Command Station or to a network location (Can choose where to save the footage)
      • Additional option to create archive folder
      • Can specify file name
