External I/O Device

OE-ZIO4EXT

The OE-ZIO4EXT is a simple USB powered plug and play device, designed to provide sensor and relay functionality. The box includes the I/O device, two Phoenix connectors and velcro for easy installation. 

Setup

Linux:

1. Plug USB into an available USB port (front or back)
2. Reboot recorder
3. There should now be 4 additional sensors and 4 additional relays under Sensors and Relays in Setup

Windows:

1. Plug USB into an available USB port (front or back)
2. Windows should detect the device and the install the driver automatically
3. Reboot recorder
4. There should now be 4 additional sensors and 4 additional relays under Sensors and Relays in Setup

Note: Apex 2.6.10 and above is required in order to properly detect the I/O device

Specifications

The external I/O device comes with 4x Form A sensor contacts and 4x Form A relay contacts which are set to Normally Open by default.
