To ensure all users can quickly and easily get up to speed with OpenEye, we have created self-guided training paths to cover the basic and advanced functionality and workflows in OWS.

Basic

For everyday users monitoring live video and reviewing recordings.

Advanced

For experienced operators who want to unlock advanced capabilities.
Dive deeper into OpenEye’s powerful analytics and specialized features. This track covers mobile access, advanced search tools, live tracking, intelligent search, and clip management workflows, helping you move beyond the basics to optimize security operations and investigative work.

Technical (Tech)

For installers, IT teams, and technical power users.
This training equips you with the knowledge to set up and maintain your OpenEye system from the ground up. Learn hardware basics, system configuration, camera linking, and Command Station essentials, plus how to keep your system healthy with monitoring and maintenance best practices. Perfect for those who manage technical implementation and long‑term performance.

Administrator User

For administrators managing users, permissions, and system organization.
Learn how to create and manage user groups, set up location groups, customize layouts and maps, generate reports, configure alerts, and adjust camera settings. This track ensures you can organize your OpenEye platform efficiently and maintain security across your organization.
