End of Windows 7 Support for OWS Server Software
Windows Platform Update Information
Please note that OWS Server Software (Apex) version 3.2.9 is the final release to support Windows 7.
Microsoft support for the operating system ended on October 10, 2023, and the drivers required for the continued operation of Apex are no longer available for that platform. As a result, OWS Server Software version 3.2.9 is the final supported upgrade version for Windows 7 systems. Users currently operating Apex on Windows 7 should plan to take one of the following actions:
- Upgrade the host system to Windows 10
- Upgrade to a current recorder model
Moving to a supported operating system or current hardware platform is recommended to maintain compatibility, supportability, and long-term system reliability.
